Terms of Purchase (Subscription Terms)

These Terms of Purchase ("Terms") apply to your purchase of any paid FreshChores subscription ("Subscription" or "Paid Plan"). By purchasing a Subscription, you agree to these Terms in addition to the FreshChores Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not purchase a Subscription.
1. Subscription Overview
FreshChores offers monthly subscription plans that provide premium features beyond the free version of the app. Details, pricing, and available features are displayed at the time of purchase and may be updated from time to time.
Your Subscription begins as soon as your initial payment is processed and renews automatically each month unless canceled.
2. Billing and Payment
2.1 Recurring Billing
By starting a Subscription, you authorize FreshChores to charge your selected payment method automatically each month until you cancel.
2.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe or Apple/Google in-app purchases). Your use of those platforms is subject to their terms and policies.
We do not store full payment card numbers.
2.3 Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- We may retry the charge
- Your account may be downgraded to a free plan
- Access to paid features may be suspended
You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains valid.
3. Pricing & Changes
We may change pricing or Subscription features from time to time. Any price increases for existing subscribers will be communicated in advance, and will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle unless you cancel.
If you continue your Subscription after the change, you accept the new pricing or terms.
4. Cancellations
You may cancel your Subscription at any time. Cancellation:
- Takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- Does not result in a prorated refund for the partial period
- Keeps you on the paid plan until that period ends
After cancellation, your account will automatically revert to the free plan.
5. Refunds
All Subscription fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at [email protected] within 30 days so we can help resolve the issue.
6. Trials & Promotions
We may offer free trials or promotional offers. These are one-time offers per user unless otherwise stated. Trial periods convert automatically to paid Subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends.
You will be informed of trial length and conversion terms at signup.
7. Taxes
Subscription prices may not include taxes. If required by law, applicable taxes will be added to your charges and shown at checkout or in your billing platform.
8. Account Sharing Risks
Paid features within group spaces may be dependent on the Subscription owner's status. If the Subscription owner cancels or lapses, some features may become limited for all group members.
9. Changes to Subscription Terms
We may update these Terms of Purchase periodically. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via email. Continued use of a Subscription after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
