About FreshChores
FreshChores is a gentle task system for households and individuals who want a calmer way to keep track of daily work.
This isn't a chore schedule. It's a way of working together.
Many chore tools lean on schedules and reminders. FreshChores does not.
Tasks live in a shared pool rather than a fixed plan, making it easier to adapt to real life.
Designed for real households
A living task pool
Tasks rise and fall naturally based on how often they need doing.
Shared visibility
When one person completes a task, it's visible to everyone — no double work.
Tasks fit people
Assign tasks that make sense for who's doing them today.
FreshChores works just as well for individuals. Many people use it as a calm, external place for tasks to live — especially when traditional to-do lists feel overwhelming or demanding.
How this started

I built FreshChores because I wanted my home to gently remember what needed attention, without demanding it. I wanted my family to be able to help when it felt right for them. I wanted the system to wait for me, not the other way around.
What I found was something surprising:
When pressure went away, I could finally see the work, without the noise of self-expectation or rigid systems.
— Gabe Blair, creator of FreshChores
Our point of view
FreshChores was built with a specific intent: to reduce pressure without adding complexity.
If you'd like to explore the thinking behind the system — what it tries to solve, what it doesn't promise, and why it's intentionally gentle — you can read more here:
